Beachbody on Demand: Decide if it’s a good fit for you

Back in 2017 was when I was first introduced to Beachbody and Beachbody on Demand or BOD as us gurus call it, I’d never heard of it…at least I thought I hadn’t. I’m sure you can remember the widespread, sensational explosion of the workout P90X!? Can’t ya! People were getting crazy amazing results with this at home DVD 📀 workout…I admit, I had my sister-in-law burn her DVD’s for me…although I never completed the program. Anyway, P90X is actually a Beachbody program (and it is available in the on demand library)! Tony Horton is the creator/trainer of the program, but Beachbody is the company! So…as it turns out, I was familiar with Beachbody, I just didn’t know it at the time😜 it’s actually come a long way since those infomercials and mail order DVD’s😉 

The easiest way to explain BOD is that it’s like Netflix for workouts and it works the same too. There’s a membership, you can choose to pay for 3, 6, or 12 month’s at a time. The best deal if you’re only purchasing BOD (there are nutrition programs + supplement options as well) is to go with the 12 months for $99, that breaks down to $8.25 per month. This allows you to stream HUNDREDS of workouts…there is literally something for EVERYONE… from yoga, to pilates, to HIIT, weight lifting, cardio, running, meditation, BARRE, boxing, agility training, dance, pre and post natal, etc…and Beachbody is ALWAYS creating new programs that get added into the library too! The diffrent programs duration varies, but the average workout is around 30 minutes. Theses programs are designed with busy lives in mind, quick, but effective! 

Another cool thing about BOD is that you can workout from anywhere…literally. I’ve worked out at a campground, in a hotel room, on the beach…the possibilities are limitless! BOD is available on iOS, Roku, Amazon FIRE, Chromecast, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Android. No service? No worries. You can download unlimited workout videos (up to your device’s storage capacity) on iOS to workout offline, or use the BOD app to play downloaded videos in Airplane mode (up to 30 days)…see, I told you the possibilities were limitless!

Did you know that  FITNESS is only 20% EXERCISE and 80% NUTRITION?! Beachbody does. That’s why they offer not just workout programs, but nutrition programs as well. They’ve really made fitness a package deal and offer everything you need to get you the BEST results possible…seriously, I attest to this! I’d been doing Crossfit for 1 year and was struggling to get results before I started following a Beachbody workout (80 Day Obsession) and nutrition program (Ultimate Portion Fix)…I could literally tell a difference within 1 week!  BOD is an all-in-one solution whether you’re looking to lose weight, increase your fitness, cross train, improve your eating habits, or just be a part of a like-minded community to support you!

PS…that last part is the golden nugget in this whole post…a like-minded community to support you is the secret to STARTING and STICKING to it.
